Rhythmize Privacy Policy

Rhythmize is a music player designed to match music playback with your movement cadence. This policy explains what data the app uses and how it is handled.

Data Stored on Your Device

Rhythmize stores app settings, local playlist information, rhythm annotations, favorite song state, recently played playlist records, and cached Apple Music playlist and song metadata locally on your device. This local data is used only to provide app features.

Apple Music

Rhythmize may request access to your Apple Music library to display and play your Apple Music playlists and songs inside the app. Rhythmize does not upload your Apple Music library, playlist data, or song metadata to the developer.

Motion and Cadence Data

Rhythmize may use device motion data to estimate your walking or running cadence. Cadence data is processed on device to adjust playback speed. Rhythmize does not upload your motion or cadence data to the developer.

Camera and Photos

Rhythmize may use the camera or photo picker when you choose a custom playlist cover. Selected or captured images are stored locally as playlist artwork. Rhythmize does not upload these images to the developer.

Feedback by Email

If you choose to submit feedback from the app, Rhythmize opens your email app and prepares an email to the developer. The email may include the text and images you choose to send. Feedback email is optional and is used only to understand issues, answer questions, and improve the app.

Tracking and Advertising

Rhythmize does not show ads and does not track you across apps or websites.

Data Sharing

Rhythmize does not sell your data. Rhythmize does not share your local playlist data, Apple Music metadata, rhythm annotations, motion data, or custom covers with third-party advertising or analytics services.

Data Deletion

You can delete app data by deleting the app from your device. You can also remove local playlist entries, favorites, custom covers, and rhythm annotations inside the app where those controls are available. If you have sent feedback by email and want the developer to delete that email, contact the developer using the same email address.
